Dorothy Roach Obituary Dorothy Faye Roach of Lubbock went to her heavenly home on April 2, 2014. She was born to Hubert and Ruby Chaney on July 24, 1939 in Tishomingo OK. She graduated from Eunice HS and lived in Eunice NM until moving to Lubbock in 1990. She was married to Roy Lee Roach in 1960 who preceded her in death. They were members of Quaker Avenue Church of Christ. Dorothy worked as managers for dress shops and florist, and as caregiver for elderly. Her and Roy loved doing for others and helping those in need. They had 4 children, Donita Anderson and Mark, Shauna Penland and Eddie, Curtis Roach, and Dayna Roach, infant daughter who preceded her in death. They have 12 grandchildren; Shealon and Dawndra who preceded her in death, Bryce, Jeremiah, and Rachel Penland; Cheri VanBenschoten, Ken, Chris, and Savanah Anderson; Jared Frost, Jake Roach, and Lacy Caballero; and 6 great-grandchildren; Gabby, Jakayla, Zach, Conner, and Maddie Penland, Michael Anderson. Visitation memorial will be at Agape Funeral Chapel on Sat. April 5, 2014 from 1-3 PM. In lieu of flowers, give time or donations to UMC Supportive Care Unit or Windmill Rehab Nursing Home Craft Fund.
