Doris Phillips Obituary A Celebration for Doris Chapman Phillips, 74 of Shallowater will be at 2:00, Tuesday May 12th at Trinity Church Chapel. Visitation will be from 12:30-1:30 before the service at Trinity Central. She died Thursday May 7th. She was born Oct. 6 1940 in Seagraves but lived most of her life in Lubbock. She married B.W. Phillips on Feb. 17, 1975. Survivors include her husband of 40 years, B.W. Their children Mike and Suzy Temple and Shelley and Tim Macha of Lubbock. Steve and Mona Phillips of Austin. Mike and Lisa Phillips and Flavil and Becky Phillips of Spring. Dah Dah and Dubbie have 15 grand children and 21 great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials go to St. Jude's or to following your heart and paying it forward in some kind of way. Doris loved her Lord, her husband, her family, her animals, her 42 group, her Trinity Prime Timers, her roses and butterflies. Doris never met a stranger and had countless friends. Her hugs, kisses, and spunky personality will be missed by all. She would want us all to remember to stop and smell the roses! Services
