Donnita Lynn Rumfelt, aged 72, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2026, in Lubbock, TX. Born on July 23, 1953, in the same city, Donnita dedicated much of her life to her community and career.

For over 25 years, Donnita was a committed member of the Home Depot Merchandising team, where her dedication to her role was evident to all who worked alongside her. Donnita was a devoted wife and was known for her kind heart, bubbly spirit and great sense of humor.

Donnita proudly served alongside her husband, David Lee Rumfelt, in the Air Force, sharing a deep commitment to their service. The couple enjoyed 39 years of marriage until David's passing. They were blessed with a daughter, Junko Rumfelt Frey, who survives her mother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Douglas Dunn and Clara Belle Dunn Goode, as well as both her brother and husband.

Donnita's life was one of service, commitment, and love, touching the lives of many.
