Donald Axtell Obituary Donald Ray Axtell, 58, of Lubbock, Texas passed away on Friday, January 19, 2018 after a brief illness. Ray was born on January 21, 1959 to Donald Reas Axtell & Shirley Ann Axtell in Delta, Colorado. Ray is predeceased by his parents and sister, Lola Elizabeth Thompson of Anton, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Gaye Axtell of Lubbock; sisters, Ritty Rector and Donna Axtell of Chandler, Texas; brother, Lloyd Reas Axtell of Lubbock; 3 sons, Jeremy Axtell of Newton, Kansas, Donald Reas Axtell of Idalou, Texas, David Ray Axtell of Lubbock; 2 daughters, Tonya Schooler of Wolfforth, Texas and Mary Ann Means of Salina, Kansas; stepson Curtis Carroll and 18 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Agape Funeral Chapel. Ray is being cremated according to his wishes. Ray will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
