Dennis Glenn
Burcham
Feb 28, 1956 — Jul 27, 2026
Dennis Glenn "Den-Den" Burcham, 70, died July 27, 2026 in Lubbock. He was born February 28, 1956 in Granite City, Illinois to Fay and Doris Thompson Burcham. He moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1978 and there he met the love of his life, Tricia Hancock, and they were married October 18, 1986. Together they raised a family and built a good life. He was first and foremost a family man. He was a devoted son, a loyal brother and a loving husband, father and uncle.
There was nothing more important to him than family. If anything came close though, it was his undying love of the St. Louis Cardinals, who he grew up going to games and following on the radio, and the Oklahoma Sooners which he discovered as a teenager and never looked back. We're not too sure there was a bigger fan. Dennis never met a stranger which caused his kids to dread going to the grocery store with him (another of his favorite things to do) because he'd strike up conversations with perfect strangers in the aisles and talk forever. He loved to prepare food and feed people, and his fried chicken, BBQ chicken and "Uncle Den-Den's" chili were legendary. He was generous to a fault, and would give someone the last of what he had to help.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fay Burcham and Doris Egeler, his brother Fay "Butch" Burcham and his sister Cheryl Burcham. He leaves behind his wife Tricia, and his children Dane Farley (Tania), Sarah (Gabe), and Kyle, all of Lubbock. His brothers Matt Burcham of OKC, Oklahoma and Bill Burcham of Arnett, Oklahoma. Also his beloved grandchildren Thalia Bostic, Israel Adame, Melody Farley, Michelle Lopez, Nathan Farley, Connor Davis, Maya Farley, his special girl Gemma Davis, Maddox Martinez and Mateo Farley. He also leaves behind numerous very loved nieces and nephews. He will be missed and we are left wondering what we are going to do.
