Dee Jones Obituary Dee Dall Jones passed away on September 13, 2015 at Grand Court in Lubbock Texas. Dee was born December 2, 1935 in Oklahoma to Clariage E. Jones and Jo Dall Knight Jones, who moved to farm northeast of Littlefield, Texas in 1936. Dee attended Littlefield Schools. She graduated from West Texas State University in 1956 with a degree in art and began her career with the Civil Service/Air Force Division. She worked at the White Sands and Hollman Air Force Base in New Mexico at the beginning of the space projects. She retired in 1985 from her job as a military magazine editor. In 1986, she moved to Lubbock and married Anthony Montifusco. Dee worked for the City of Lubbock in the Parks and Recreation Department at Hodges and Maxi Parks for fifteen years. Dee was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved only child, Katrina J. Vaughn, her husband, Anthony, and niece, Shannon Crews. She is survived by two sisters, Phyllis Murphy of Littlefield and Edna Chambers and husband, Steve, of Roswell, NM, one grandson, Michael and Natalie Hicks and son of Virginia, nephews, Rodney Lorenz of Littlefield, Cliff Hutson of Las Cruces, NM, Michael Murphy of Littlefield, and C.W. Crews of Littlefield. Arrangements are being handled through Agap Funeral Chapel in Lubbock. A service in celebration of Dees life will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2015, at 2:30pm, with the Reverend Ruth E. Clendenin officiating.
