Darvin Jonas Obituary Darvin Lee Jonas, of Lubbock, passed from this life Thursday, January 9, 2013. He was born into this life Monday, February 24, 1936 to Alvin Monroe and Bessie (Merkel) Jonas in New Braunfels. Darvin worked as an electrician for 50 years. He was a loving husband and father. Darvin is survived by his wife, Sharon Jonas; four daughters, Misty Leatherwood of Welch, Wendy Scott of Lubbock, Penny Scott of Lubbock and Pamela Scott of Lubbock. Darvin was also a loving grandfather to seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. A graveside service, to commemorate Darvin's 77 years of life, is scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Lamesa Memorial park Cemetery, Lamesa.
