Darrell Eubanks Obituary Darrell Neal Eubanks Darrell Neal Eubanks of Lubbock, Texas went to be with the Lord February 4, 2023 after a 2 ½ year battle with leukemia. He was born in Washington DC July 15, 1952, to John William Eubanks Jr and Virginia Evelyn (Hudspeth). Darrell was raised in a US Airforce family and lived in Germany, Alaska, Colorado, and various other places. He also served in the US Army for 3 years. He went to high school in Colorado Springs and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Eastern New Mexico University in 1978, with a dual major in psychology and religion. His master's work was in psychology also at ENMU. He began the PHD program in management information systems at Texas Tech University in 1982. In 1984-1985 he held the graduate fellowship from the Business Schools Center for Professional Development. In 1988 Darrell co-wrote and published "Microcomputers Business and Personal Applications". After working in IT for several companies, including St. Mary's Hospital. Darrell formed his own computer networking company; IT Lubbock, and loved servicing many businesses in Lubbock and Wolfforth for the last 10+ years. A strong Christian, Darrell started a weekly Bible study with several other men of God and formed a special bond with these men for over 29 years. He attended Turning Point Community Church almost since its inception 20 years ago. He enjoyed greeting every Sunday morning, with his wife Paula, at the entrance where parents came with their babies and young children. Darrell also had a passion for reading, whether it was the Bible, history, or fiction. This wonderful man married Paula Marie (Knerr) on August 21, 1998. He often told her how crazy he was about her and every day told her how much he loved her, for almost 25 years.
