Danny Branum Obituary Danny Ray Branum passed away at home on January 20, 2014 at the young age of 61. He was born in Lubbock, Texas on March 13, 1952 to Briney Branum and Jo Louise Baber. Danny was a lifelong resident of Lubbock, Texas. He worked at several jobs during his life time, the last being at Consolidated Pipe and Tube Co. Despite being born with a handicap Danny was a carefree and easygoing person. He loved his family and will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Danny was preceded in death by his father Briney Branum, half-sister Janice Akard and brother Randy Branum. He is survived by his mother Jo Louis Branum, brothers Fred Akard, James Akard and wife Bonnie; Edward "Fast Eddie" and Sammy Branum; sister Sandra Caldwell; nephew Jonathan Hart and great niece Zaijah Hart.
