Chad Floyd Obituary Chad D. Floyd, of Hobbs, NM, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2012. He was born September 16, 1975, in Hobbs, N.M. Chad was a loving son, brother, and uncle. He was also a caring friend to many. Chad was preceded in death by his "Mema," Joyce Irene Hail, and his step-father, Bobby Jack Johnson, both passing in 1998. He is survived by his mother, Katherine Johnson, of Hobbs; his father, Rickey Floyd, of Kingsland, TX; three brothers, Brian Floyd, of Fort Collins, CO, Jeremiah Johnson and Thomas Johnson, of Hobbs, NM; one sister, Elizabeth Rodriquez, of Hobbs, NM; a grandmother, Marilyn Young, of Kingsland, TX; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made, in honor of Chad Floyd, to Isaiah's Soup Kitchen, 304 West Harden Blvd Hobbs, NM 88240. Chad's family will celebrate his 37 years of life with a private family memorial service.
