Carol Doane Obituary Carol Ann Doane passed from this life Wednesday, January 15, 2014 in Lubbock, TX. She was born into this life February 6, 1933 to Willis and Ruth (Crehen) Doane in Buffalo, NY. Carol lived in Buffalo until her family moved to Carlsbad, NM in 1979, where she went to work as a Substance Abuse Counselor until she retiring at the age of 62. Carol was an animal lover, and was actively involved in Alcohol Anonymous. Carol is survived by a sister, Barbara Ziebath and a brother Phillip Doane; both reside in California. It is the request of Carol Ann Doane that no memorial service be held and no flowers be sent. However, Carol made this request: donations made to Noah's Ark, in her honor and memory.
