Carol Coler Obituary In loving memory of our wife and mother, Carol L. Coler, 68, of Levelland, Texas, who peacefully passed away on December 14, 2023, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, TX, surrounded by her loving family. Carol was born on October 8, 1955, to Raymond W. Bussey and Eleanor (Garrison) Bussey in Yankton, South Dakota. She graduated from Springfield High School in 1973, and in 1976, she married the love of her life, Michael V. Coler, in Springfield, South Dakota. Growing up, Carol was always there for us, offering help with homework or a comforting shoulder to cry on. A woman of firm conviction, she instilled in us the importance of family, hard work, and doing what is right. Our mother was a kind, caring, and giving person who prioritized the needs of her family. She faced every challenge with courage and dignity, inspiring us all. Carol will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched and remembered for the love she gave her family. She found solace in walking along the beaches of the Florida panhandle, collecting shells, watching the sunrise, and listening to the soothing sounds of the waves. Predeceased by her parents, Carol is survived by her loving spouse, Michael V. Coler; her three children: Christina (Charles) Combs, Panama City, FL; Robin Coler, Levelland, TX; and Lisa Bishop, Amarillo, TX; her cherished granddaughter, Echo Bishop; and her siblings: Frances (Harlan) DeJong, Springfield, SD; Jim (Nena) Bussey, Nanjemoy, MD; and Randy (Sheri) Bussey, Cedar Rapids, IA. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Carol, you will always be in our hearts, and we will never forget you. We love you so much. Rest in peace. In line with her wishes, we didn't plan any services.
