Brandon Matthew Mitchell of Lubbock, TX went to be with Jesus on Monday July 27, 2026, at the age of 52 years old. Brandon was born on August 30, 1973 in Garland, TX to Randy and Peggy Mitchell. Brandon graduated from Monterey High School where he went on to South Plains College for one year where he majored in law enforcement then he went to Louisiana where he attended truck driving school. After graduating from truck driving school Brandon went on to fulfill his passion as a long haul driver working for Four Corners Trucking Company.

Brandon was a loving father to his two daughters, Madison and Sadie Mitchell. Brandon loved his daughters unconditionally, he was their fiercest protector and their number one supporter in their life. Brandon was a devoted, loyal, and selfless friend and would drop anything to help his friends and close loved ones no matter what was going on in his own life. Brandon was also a son, brother, cousin, nephew, and uncle, and he was such a blessing to his family.

Brandon was a diehard Texas Tech Fan and never missed an opportunity to express excitement and support for his favorite team. Many can remember Brandon and his dad Randy smoking Brisket and making homemade beef jerky for tailgating before a big Texas Tech game. Brandon also enjoyed a day out on the lake fishing; he had a dream of one day of living on a lake and he loved listening to country music and above all he loved Jesus Christ and was a devout Christian. Brandon will always be remembered for his dry sense of humor, goofy personality, loyalty, selflessness and kindness.

Brandon is survived by his two daughters Madison and Sadie, his mother, Peggy Mitchell, his sister, Alicia Matthews, his four nieces (Ally, Audrey, Emmy, Elizabeth), his uncle, Mike(Kelly) Mitchell, his aunt, Pam Mitchell, his aunt, Jeannine Grantham, his uncle George (Suzanne) Grantham, his cousins (Amy Comer, April Grantham, Jenna Grantham) and many more that loved him unconditionally. Brandon was preceded in death by his father, Randy Mitchell, his sister, Tiffany Spano, his maternal grandfather/grandmother, George and Virginia Grantham and his paternal grandfather/grandmother, Bill and Jean Mitchell.

Celebration of Life service will be Saturday, August 8, at 3:00 pm at Victory Life Church, 12401 Slide Road, Lubbock, TX 79424.
