Boyd Richard Triggs passed away on October 27, 2026, at the age of 69. He was born on June 10, 1957 in Weaubleau, Missouri.

Boyd will be remembered as a hardworking man who spent many years as a mechanic of all trades and as a truck driver. His work reflected a practical spirit and a willingness to do what needed to be done, and he built a life marked by steady effort and dedication.

He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Triggs; his mother, Margaret Barrett; and his wife, Elizabeth Braziel.

Boyd is survived by his son, Jason Triggs, and Jason’s wife, Cynthia, of San Antonio, Texas. He is also survived by his brother, Robert Triggs, and by his six sisters, Cathy Underwood, Laurel Lynn Williams, Patti Tate, Donna Janes, Ellen Cash, and Bonnie Maile, and his three loving grandchildren. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved him.

A graveside service will be held on November 3, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Resthaven Memorial Park, 5740 19th St, Lubbock, Texas 79407 with Ronnie Ledbetter officiating. 

Pallbearers will be Spencer Braziel, Patrick Maile, Matthew Janes, Richard Harvey, and Jimmy Frazier.
