Obituary

Billye Lou Robinson had the joy of getting to meet Jesus on April 4, 2026, just in time for the biggest celebration Heaven has every year.

She was a woman of strong spirit, deep faith, and a lifelong love of music.

She was raised on a large, peaceful ranch in the beautiful West Texas area of Van Horn, a place that remained a meaningful part of her story. She graduated from Van Horn High School in 1965 and attended Texas Tech University.

An accomplished pianist, she taught lessons for several years, sharing her love of music with her students. The piano was both her passion and her way of connecting with others.

Over the years, she explored many paths. She worked briefly as a life insurance agent and enjoyed getting to know and help her clients. She also had a love for all things beauty--selling skincare, makeup, and supplements, always wanting women to feel confident and healthy.

Her greatest joy, however, was her jewelry business. She hosted pop-ups, maintained a booth at Old Mill Trade Days in Post, Texas, for many years, and traveled across West Texas doing shows until her health no longer allowed it. She had an eye for detail and noticed the little things others might miss—but if you were wearing a beautiful piece of jewelry, that was always the first thing she would compliment.

She was known for her sense of style, her humor, her determination (stubbornness), and her individuality. Her faith was personal and deeply held—something she carried in her own way.

She is survived by her son, Ken ("Skip") Craig; her daughter, Brandy Copeland, and son-in-law, Stacy Copeland (affectionately known as "The Golden Child"); her grandchildren, Sawyer Copeland, Darrell Cook, Austin Copeland, Amanda DeMasters, and Kelissa Pechacek; her sister, Vicki Towery; and her nieces and nephew, Reagan Chavez, Shannah Towery, and Shane Towery.

She will be remembered for the way she lived life on her own terms and for the impression she left on those who knew her. She will be deeply missed.
