Billy Williams Obituary Billy Don Williams passed from this life Sunday, March 3, 2013, in Lubbock, TX. He was born into this life Friday, November 27, 1953 to Billy Frank and Laila Joyce (Scarbrough) Williams in Muleshoe; he was their third child. Billy Don joined his big sister, Peggy, and brother David. Ten and one-half years later, little brother, Terri, joined the family. Billy Don attended Muleshoe Schools, and as a junior, he met his one, true love Sharon Harris. They married on July 7, 1973, in Muleshoe, at the 16th and Ave D Church of Christ. What followed was the birth of three beautiful children, Justin, Julie, and Jared. The Williams home was always loud, rowdy, and full of love. Many children came thru the Williams home, and all will tell you that Billy Don was a wonderful role model, and a father figure to many. The children grew up and married, and gave us seven terrific grandchildren; Justin married Valarie and they promptly gave us two little girls, Teagan and Tavery. Jared married Marci and they gave us two little girls, Ally and Lily. Billy was preceded in death by his father, and a brother, Billy Williams. He is survived by his wife, Sharon; sons Justin and Jared; daughter Julie; his mother, Joyce; three grandsons, Jaime, Clayton, and Caleb; four granddaughters, Alle, Lily, Teagan, and Tavery. Billy Don had a very blessed life and was always grateful. He was a man of God and had absolutely no fear of dying. Billy Don knew he would join God and other believers. So, on March 3, 2013, he joined his Heavenly Father, and all who went before him. He will be missed, oh so much, but; when you think of him, wear a smile, he would have wanted it that way. A memorial service, to celebrate Billy Don's 59 years of life, is scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at the Williams residence, Shallowater.
