Billy Timmons Sr. Obituary Billy Timmons, Sr. of Lubbock passed away on December 24, 2017 at the age of 76. A Celebration of Life will be held January 20, 2018 at 2 p.m. at the First Church of the Nazarene in Lubbock. Mr. Timmons was born on June 3, 1941 in Lubbock, Texas. On August 19, 1961, he married the love of his life Linda Boyd. He was a roofing contractor for over 50 years. Billy will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 56 years, Linda Timmons. He will be missed immensely by his children, Tamara Timmons; JoJo Timmons and wife Chevi; Courtney Deatherage and husband Randy; his bonus son Mingo Ordaz, and his grandchildren, Tasha Martin and husband Bill; Anna Wilkerson; Torey Timmons; Skyler Blake Timmons; Caylon Timmons; Rylea Timmons; Tatum Deatherage; Teagan Deatherage; his bonus grandchildren Ashley Ordaz, and Keisha Ordaz; and numerous great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, extended family and dear friends. He is survived by sisters Glenda Reid, Sharron McMinn, Sheila Timmons, Julia Brown, and brother Royce Timmons. He is preceded is death by son Corey Jayson Timmons; his brothers Tommy and Wayne Timmons and his parents Julie Brown and Lloyd Timmons. Services
