Billy Scott Obituary Billy E. Scott, 82, of Lubbock graduated into heaven on Saturday, March 24, 2012. Billy was born in Shallowater, Texas, January 9, 1930 to C.L. and Jessie Cook Scott. He married Margaret Dixon Willborn on January 31, 1995. He is survived by his widow, Margaret, one son, Bruce Scott, of Lubbock and two daughters, Belinda Letterman (Gary) of Oro Valley, AZ and Sandra Lumpkin (Bob) of Lubbock . He is also survived by three stepsons, Michael Willborn (Debbie),and Larry Willborn (Raylene) of Lubbock and Kerry Willborn of Waring, Texas, 17 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and retired from the Lubbock Fire Department after 27 years of service. He and Margaret loved to travel in their RV and they saw much of the United States together that way. He was a master handyman and delighted in teaching his many skills to his son, sons-in-law, grandsons and grandsons-in-law. Billy was an avid fisherman and loved to fish with his children, grandchildren and his brothers-in-law. Visitation will be Tuesday , March 27 from 5 to 7 pm at Agape Funeral Chapel, 6625 West 19th, Lubbock with graveside services to be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Resthaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Odyssey Hospice, 1717 Norfolk, 4th Floor, Lubbock, TX 79416.
