Betty Carey Obituary Betty Jane Carey, 78, of Lubbock was born in Wynnewood, OK, November 2, 1936 to Otis and Viola Milligan. Betty was the third of six children. Betty married Kenneth H. Carey on July 28, 1951. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, eldest Son, Kenneth C. Carey, Grandson, Joel W. Carey, eldest Brother, Charles Milligan, and Sister, Doris Gipson. Betty is survived by her husband, Kenneth H. Carey, Sisters, Viola Hicks of Phoenix, AZ, and Marjorie Harck of Lubbock, Brother, Byron Milligan of Lubbock, Daughters, Jaynie(Susie) Sharp, and Gina Carey both of Lubbock, and Son, David Carey of Bonham. Betty was blessed with 8 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Betty passed away Saturday, November 15th, 2014, at her home. Memorial Service to be scheduled at a later date. Services
