Ben Lopez Obituary Ben Yanez Lopez passed from this life, going home to be with his Lord, December 1, 2013 in Lubbock, TX. He was born into this life September 21, 1950 to Ysabel and Rebecca (Yanez) Lopez in Eden, CO. Ben is still a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, relative, and friend. He will be dearly missed. Our hearts will ache but we will rejoice for the end of his pain and suffering. Ben was a very hard working, loving, christian and family man. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, woodworking, bike riding, and time with his family and friends. Family members who have gone to be with the Lord, before Ben are: his son Patrick Anthony Lopez; his father Ysabel Lopez; a sister, Sylvia Lopez; and a brother Alfredo Lopez. Those family members left to cherish his memory are: his wife Francis Escamilla Lopez; a daughter Malissa Lopez-Reyna; two sons, Ben Brian Lopez, Jr. and Eric Eugene Lopez; nine grandchildren, Skylar, Nathaniel, Dion, Devin, Meagan, Ariel, Destiny, Kaitlynn, and Erica; his mother, Rebecca Rodriguez and step-father George Rodriguez; four brothers, Abel Lopez, Julian Lopez, Joe Lopez, and Jake Lopez; three sisters, Mary L. Lopez, Rosalinda Trevino, and Lydia Soto. A memorial service, to commemorate Ben's 63 years of life, is scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Monday, December 2, 2013 at Freedom Baptist Church, Lubbock, TX. Arrangements were entrusted to Agape Funeral Chapel, Lubbock, TX.
