Aurelio Oliva Jr Obituary Aurelio "AJ" Oliva, Jr. was relieved from his suffering by the Lord and taken into heaven on Wednesday July 17, 2013. He was 53 years old. Mass will be on Friday July 26, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 10 a.m. officiated by Father Martin Pina. Burial will be at Peaceful Gardens. Jr. was born on February 27, 1960, in Lubbock, TX, to Aurelio Sr. and Viviana Oliva. He was preceded in death by his father in 2003. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, three older sisters Juanita Oliva, Mary Oliva and Ramona O. Melo (Juan), two nephews Josue Melo (Yary) and Miguel Melo and a great nephew Caleb Aurelio Melo. Jr. will be missed by his three aunts, an uncle, numerous cousins and many friends. Jr. worked as a mechanic at TX DOT. He was a great mechanic and his passion was fixing and racing his race cars. He was such a wonderful son and the best brother in the whole world. We miss him so much already.
