Anet Joachim Obituary Anet Levine Joachim, 82, of Lubbock, passed away on September 23, 2013. Anet's greatest passion was traveling. She took trips to Europe, Mexico, Israel and throughout the USA. Her other passions were collecting antique dolls and bears. Anet loved cooking for family and friends. She enjoyed big band and jazz music and classic movies. Anet graduated from Highland Park in Dallas. She received her B.S. and M.B.S. degrees from North Texas State followed by her doctoral studies at NTS. Anet's love of education continued throughout her life. She had an adult Bat Mitzvah in April 2003 with her mother and family participating. Survivors are her children, Steven Joachim and Steve Neeley of Atlanta; Deborah Pryor and husband Mike Pryor of Houston; Nonette Joachim of Lubbock; Barry Joachim and wife Elizabeth Huffman of Lubbock; grandchildren, Nathan Pryor, Jacques Pryor, Neil Joachim, Hollyn Joachim and Harper Joachim. Anet was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 49 years, Silvan Joachim, in 2000 and son, Daniel Joachim in 1992. Memorial services to be conducted on September 27, 2013 10am at Temple Emanu-El Cemetery in Dallas.
