Nicolasa Garcia, born December 30, 1937, in Selma, Texas, passed away on June 2, 2026, at the age of 88. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend whose presence brought warmth, laughter, and comfort to everyone around her.

Nicolasa worked hard caring for her home and her family, always known for her strong work ethic and faith, which she always put first in her life. She had a love for music and up until her final days would be found singing and tapping her feet. She had a way of immediately making you feel loved with the beautiful smile on her face, and the caress of her hand. Throughout her life she happily cared for her children and grandchildren and ensured they all knew her home was a welcome place of comfort and love.

Nicolasa Garcia was preceded in death by her loving husband Nicolas Garcia, and their two children Mary Ann Garcia and Refugio Garcia.

She is survived by 9 children, Domingo Martinez, David Martinez, Cathy Gonzales, Johnny Garcia, Martin Garcia, Modesta Leal, Alicia Garcia, Elisa Jimenez, Angela Vallejo, her 32 grandkids, 75 great grandkids and 14 great great grandkids, and her sister Santos Camacho.
