Travis Jennings Obituary

Travis Don Jennings went to be with His Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday night, June 26, 2019, after a courageous battle with a lengthy illness. Don was a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ for more than 50 years of his life, serving in the local church, nursing home ministry, and one on one counseling. He served many years in the Exodus Prison Ministry, and may be best known around Lubbock for his little white business cards called, “Reflections From the Pond of Living Waters”, which he shared faithfully. Don is survived by his loving wife, Nola Jennings; son, Darin Jennings, and wife Stephanie of Dallas, Texas, and daughter Dionne McCowen, and husband Greg, of Lubbock, Texas. He is also survived by seven wonderful grandchildren, whom he loved with all of his heart, and enjoyed spoiling. Though Don graduated from Texas Tech University, and was a Professional Civil Engineer, he was never defined by that accomplishment...it was merely what he did. He was defined by his relationships with Jesus, his family, and friends.  His legacy will live on through those who knew and loved him. We will never forget his love, and that smile which he displayed even in his last days on earth!
