Amelia Ramirez

Amelia (Emilia) Sauceda Ramirez, age 88, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2019 surrounded by her children in her home. She was born June 21, 1931 in Tilden, Texas to Pedro and Maria Luisa Sauceda. She was married to Ramiro Ramirez for 56 years and they were married on June 3, 1962.
Amelia was a loving person, very creative and loving mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and wife. She loved music and enjoyed dancing any opportunity she was given and was also well known for her many Spanish Sayings.
She is preceded in death by her late husband Ramiro Ramirez and 2 sons Ramiro Ramirez Jr. and Heberto Ramirez. She had seven brothers and three sisters, all of whom have preceded her in death, with one of those siblings (Irene Soliz) of Edingburgh, Texas, remaining.She was a devout Jehovah's Witness of 51 years and belonged to the North Spanish Congregation.
She is survived by her 10 children, 32 grandchildren and many great grand children with one great great grand child. Maria Barboza (Dionisio Barboza) of Lubbock Texas, Adriana Martinez (Ricardo Martinez) of Natalia Texas, Raymundo Ramirez (Sylvia Ramirez) of Dallas, Texas, Alicia Fernandez (Juan Luis Fernandez) of Omaha Nebraska, Reynaldo Ramirez (Andrea Ramirez) of Lubbock, Texas, Roberto Ramirez of Lubbock, Texas, Amelia Ramirez Mendez (Guillermo Mendez) of Lubbock, Texas, Romeo Ramirez (Delma Ramirez) of Lubbock, Texas, Rene Ramirez (Dorian Richie) of San Antonio, Texas and Larisa Lara (Jessie Jimenez) of Lubbock, Texas.
A visitation with family and friends will be held Wednesday November 6, 2019 from 5-7PM at Agape Funeral Chapel. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday November 7, 2019 at 2PM at Agape Funeral Chapel with a graveside service following at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.
