Today we lay to rest a great man by the name of Joe Louis Martinez.
Born in the town of Belton, Texas in 1956 to Apolinar and Francisca Martinez. As young person Joe
decided to join the US Navy Military and served for 13 years proudly. In his youth he was known as the
Mexican Bruce Lee because of his quick hands and speed all around. He later married and had loving
family as he worked in Colorado and Texas. He was a loving man that cared more to help someone in
need then have money to buy extravagant things. He loved a good time, a good laugh and helping bring
smiles to all that he encountered. A man that above all cherished family, laughter, and God. He is
survived by his wife Hope Martinez, two adopted children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and
brother and two sisters. He will be missed here on earth but will finally be able to join his 2 brothers,
mother, and father in heaven. His Soul will be carried into the heavens but his body will be transported
to the earth by the Pallbearers Jose Rosales, Emilio Rosales, and Fabian Rosales, Joe Martinez,
Christopher Martinez and Paul Martinez.
